    Default Would you change it?

    I made a mistake putting this one together. Not all the fabrics are directional, but we did make sure each row had all the directional fabrics oriented in the same direction. When I put the two halves together, I put them facing one another. It's not a hard fix, but it's going to a toddler and she will probably never know the difference. You can see the join between the alligators and the flamingoes. Would you change it? To fix it I have to remove two long seams.[ATTACH=CONFIG]535552[/ATTACH]

    I wouldn't change it if it was me. Of course I don't like doing long seams! It's going to be a fun quilt for a little one

    Leave it. This is not a major problem, so don't fret over it. I made an I Spy quilt for my Grand-Nephew and put the fabric in every direction, on purpose. The baby will love it just the same.

    Wow! That is a terrific quilt for a toddler - or young boy. I'd leave it. Even though you told us where the mistake was, I couldn't see it. I had to hunt to find it!

    NO - do not change a thing. Not noticeable - even to a quilter. I made one just like this for my grandson when he was a toddler and I think he still has it somewhere - he is 22 yrs old.

    Your quilt is great! Don't change it, the child will never know and I am fairly sure no one else that sees it will know either.

    You mean because the flamingos and the alligators are feet to feet? If thats what you mean I wouldn't bother changing it, its a super cute quilt!
