If you want it to look cooler go for white. If you want it to look warmer go for yellow. Either will work.

I have to say neither. Each one touches a similar/same color and they bleed together. What color are the flower centers? A burnt orange or rusty brown would work for me. I like the idea of a dark orange.

I vote for yellow and white squares all around.

I agree. If that is not possible, then yellow would be my choice.

Because, as has been pointed out, either yellow or white touches a yellow or white block, I would use neither. The dark center color of the flowers would work, but I would use the dark background color in the floral fabric. I can't tell if it is black or a very dark green, but I like that color for the inner border.

Oh, you know me, gotta mix things up a bit and offer an alternative with color wheel connections.....
I'd use a deeper, golden yellow like that in the print but which is NOT used in the other fabrics. AND I'd make it narrower than what you've cut now. Let it be a "stopper border" ("stops" the action of the blocks before adding the borders so those fabrics don't "bleed" into the borders.)

If you have a piece nearer that color, just lay it along beside the blocks and see if you don't see what I mean. Sort of like this:

I agree with IrishRose2 and Jan. Neither white or the same yellow. Either orange that matches center or a darker yellow. Maybe a little narrower than the strips you have.
