    in 1946 my grandma made a guestroom yoyo that was backed with muslin. she tacked through the center of each yo with almost invisible stitches. they were about 3" across and it was bedspread size for a double bed. mg, i can still see it as though it was yesterday.

    I am thinking of doing a yo yo quilt been reading history of quilting it seem they were not quilted in the past but sewed to muslin to make a bed spread or cover also thinking of crazy quilting that been around a long time too I do not have a quilt frame so trying to find way to do with out quilting some say they use hoop but just not for me have red quilt as you go but still searching also the puff quilt may be ok I would like to do a hand sewed quilt top and if quilted do by hand any one have any suggestion
