Zinks new outlet shop
Has anyone been to the new Zinks in Indiana. I think it is in Linonier. Close to Shipshewana. I moved from South Bend to Indy a couple of years ago but would definitely make a trip up there if it is a good store. It's fabric.

It took me a while to find anything online about it. It's in Ligonier, IN. I go to Shipshewana all the time, so I'll definitely be trying it out. I'm moving to Ohio, and they're already in Berlin, OH - woo-hoo!

While you are up there - check out the floral quilt gardens and quilt murals on sides of buildings - they are beautiful!!! My mom and I just finished 3 days up there driving around looking at all of them.

Yes! I just went. I plan on going again in a week or so and will take pictures of store and some of their fabs & prices. There were some really good deals on quality stuff but the whole store is mostly seconds, albeit quality seconds. Only saw a few things of Moda quality. Some great deals on backing material, though, which may be worth it. 96" wide, lots of colors, and only $1.99/yrd! (mostly pastels) The regular runs are priced similar to other places. The flannel collection was great! If you do go up, give me a heads up and I would love to meet a fellow board member there! The building itself is sort of depressing.
To answer the above question about where? It is just south of US6 on US33. "Just south" means a few buildings.

I noticed a lot of the quilting fabrics were MDG brand which is Marshall's Dry Goods. I bought a roll of polyester fleece type batting for $2.25 yard, to be used for charity quilts and crafts.
One hint, look for bolts where the original label has been covered by the Zincks label, those were more likely to be LQS quality goods.

Thanks for the information. I will definitely be coming up there. I will let you know when. In July we are going to my sister's in Calif. Planning to go to M&L fabrics out there. It is stacks and stacks of fabric.
