OFF TOPIC ALERT! Many many thanks to everyone who helped with the Patriotic Quilt for the Joann employee.
I finished it and posted pix here http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...ml#post5487938
Will get a photo of her with it this afternoon.

Sooo I have been in communication (several times) with
JenniPenny (my partner), she is working on my DQ and
I asked her a couple questions and when she said YES to
a question I asked her I am running with my "2nd idea"
I have 4 pattern plans in my mind and the one I was leaning
towards the most was as strange as it might sound was my
second "plan" don't ask me why it is still "listed" as my second
plan, that is how I can keep track of my "brain""

But I will say this it does involved some fabric cutting.

LOL (I crack myself up sometimes).

Ok back to the fabric room I go.

Quilty-Louise, you sound like you're having a great time! So your second idea should move up to being first now, right?
Whatever it is, I am looking forward to it....
I will say that my hubby passed through my sewing room once today and saw what I was working on, and said "ooh, fancy."

Well I was cleaning up my sewing room today and came across some triangle pieces in autumn-ish colors! So my partner is getting a scrappy fall quilt this time. I hope she likes it. I hope she is doing ok as she is in Louisana and I haven't heard from her yet. Hopefully she is just enjoying a holiday weekend.

We stay close to home on most holidays, so had time to work on my dq which is close to being completed. I pm'd my partner including my address. Hope to hear from her soon. Love working with fall colors.

LOL Well they certainly make them (peeping sounds) , but no I meant the song birds Krystyna. I am putting together an autumn design and was thinking about using a chickadee.
