Anastasia sweetpea you are young but not NEW GRAND BABY YOUNG so well, so long been good to know you funny how it can take a top priority. That said they do take nine months to come so why do we take so long making those blankets? I already talked to my kids and said I was making a few pastel, a few bright ones when their finally ready to have children they can simply shop grandma's closet for new baby gear. Same with wedding stuff. I want to make a civil war fabric quilt for my son when he gets married, my daughter another romantic patriotic quilt for when she gets married and well praying the oldest doesnt get married again so guess I should make one so it ensures he doesnt.. you know darned well if I dont make it I will need it. murphys law and all that. so hurry up boom swap 9 lol please use civil war fabric lol or if its like beach houses well I can do those in civil war too. ..or if its like Christmas well interesting civil war trees! (no need for ornaments on those trees).. ok hurry up.. oh heck better finish this one first. night ya all. company is making me one pooped out camper. Still sewing I dont care come visit me while I iron this or cut that.

I'm sure at 82 he could still be "trained" to make tea in between his ironing seams duties

He'd love to come and if he was limber enough to go into an envelope he probably would try it.

Glad you liked the block when you peeked.

So... I've been thinking.. all the leftover fabrics I got from everyone's fat8ths and my own that I sent out, I'm going to pair with black and make like a stained glass quilt.. course this is in theory... I will probably lose all my scraps in my bins o' scraps, forget what was used, etc and use my glorious black on other things.. but.. it's in there in my brain.. so maybe.

Just put them in their own little baggie for safe keeping. Go get 'em now before you forget what you've been sewing on, I just say that 'cause that's what would happen to me. Mine are still in the basket in the envelopes they came in so are all separate and I think I have all the last boom in a baggies with name on each one. That sounds stupid, what the h--- am I saving them like that for? It's easy 'cause that's the way they were, don't want to make it to difficult on myself you know. Now if I knew how to do stained glass, I'd have a pretty good start. Where's a tute Anastasia??
