I know! Arthur & Jack are almost as excited as I am! Can't wait to wear those socks! I do believe those crocheted hearts are hand crocheted, because they are wonderful! Ohhhh ... that reminds me .... I forgot to take a photo of the back of the nc. You won't believe it, but it has a crocheted heart on the back, too! Yes, I must take another photo. Be back soon!

For all asking, the doll quilt swap that was once on the board is the same as the mini quilt swap. tlambing just changed the name a little and it can be a little smaller or the same 18" max size. I have lots of p/c and n/c also but I love the swap. It's hard running one with just a few people to trade with and exchange.....my question is....should we wait a few month's or keep going with it now? What do you all think??

Here are the photos of the back of the needle case. I started to download it & then a friend came over to quilt with me & I got distracted!

Sorry -- I tried to get rid of the sideways photo, but it showed up anyway & then I couldn't get rid of it. (sigh)
I also wondered about the doll quilt swap. That's the reason why I joined QB in the first place, but never did find it! I wondered how similar the mini quilt swap was to the doll quilt swap.
What about just exchanging pincushions? Many people collect those, but not necessarily nc's. What do you think, jaba? Will that make a difference? Just a thought.

Pam I'm happy you like the package, need to explain about the crocheted hearts... I received them from someone on this board in a PC/NC swap, I just loved them, but when I moved to my apartment I had no place to display them, I have a few I will put on a bulletin board but decided to share them so someone else could enjoy them.. They sure look pretty in the picture and I hope the person who sent them to me thinks that I didn't appreciate them. I loved them and felt the beautiful work needed to be shared. Now if I could remember who sent them it would be great... Before I moved I had names of every one I received on each set and somehow in moving they came off... My whole format changed on my computer and I can't figure out how to share pictures yet.

Well, I'm happy to have received them! Whoever it is did a great job with them. I hope she's okay with that, too, but I think most quilters feel that if someone can't use something, they will pass it on to someone who can. At least, I hope so!

What about changing up what's traded each month? All small items. Maybe pot holders, zipper pouches, pincushions, needle cases, table mats (small), bowls, ornaments..... The list could go on and on.
I don't mind hosting swaps however, there are a couple of stipulations to that. I do not like to have "angels", I appreciate the thought and stepping up from the kind folks out there but, I think it can get out of hand. I have no problem leaving bad feedback and blocking from participation those that do not follow through without cause. Also, I appreciate we are all givers, but I like to keep the added goodies down to a minimum. I have noticed that there are quite a few folks that won't participate in a swap because they are intimidated by all of the extra stuff.
Let me know if this might be something you folks are interested in......
