I've been having trouble with my right hand and experiencing pain in my fingers, so my appointment with the doctor was yesterday. Seems the tendon has gone a little "wacky", they call it a trigger finger. Whatever it is, I sure want it fixed. They are scheduling surgery and he says it will be fine and normal again. The sooner the better I told him, hope they call today!
I came home to a wonderful Valentine from NHNative. Pat you really outdid yourself on these sweet items, such beautiful work you do!! Candy hearts, a notepad, heavenly smelling soap, knitted pink and white heart coasters, crochet nestled hearts, this little heart box filled with heath candy bars and the sweetest mugrug ever! And that's not all...would you look at all the detail on this needlecase and pin cushion, truly amazing and beautiful. Thank you so much Pat, I love everything you sent and certainly am in awe of your embroidery talent.
I sure hate to see this swap end, they are so fun to do. Anyone going to take over for Karen and keep us all sewing??
What a gorgeous Valentine's swap you received! Indeed you did an amazing job MHNative.

I hope some one will step up too. I just joined a couple of months ago but am really enjoying this swap.

Pat love those fabrics. What a cute pincushion and mug rug. Jaba Pat makes the best soaps. Great smelling and leaves your hands soft. Very nice swap.

I am loaded with pincushions and needle books. How about a new topic?
Or hop on over to the mini quilts. There are not a lot of members. You can be creative and try some new ideas.
Cheers, Dotty

Well finally got my swap in the mail today. Usually I'm quicker than this.

I mailed out my package during my lunch break.

Jaba -- that's a great package form nhnative! Pat always does a wonderful job. Love that Valentine fabric (haven't see that one before) & the embroidery is to-die-for! Great job! Love everything you received!

Then, when I got home, I found another amazing package -- only this one was for me!

Ladybug sent me such wonderful things! Let's start with a photo of the entire package. You might not be able to differentiate between the two greens to the right of the tea towel, but she included 2 green FQs.

And then there is the pc & nc! Aren't they beautiful???

And the inside of the nc, filled with more goodies!

Oh, & did you notice the travel tissue holder? It's different, in that the cover opens up. I think I have it opened in this photo:

Thanks, Rosemary! Everything is a delight! I love it all!

Sis great swap. Love that needlebook and pincushion. Did you do the crocheted little hearts? So pretty.

Pamela what a great swap you got from Ladybug. She even sent treats for your pets. I love the cathedral pc. I'm going to have to try that. And socks. What a great bunch of goodies.
