Ooooo! Sneak peek give away. Do you see what's in the background of the photos above? You'll have to visit the Doll Quilt thread to find out what it is ... but in the meanwhile ... Oh my goodness! I am wrapped in friendship stars! This is my new curl up in the living room quilt ... and as always, my littlest fur babe, Daisy, needs to be next to me and Feeney, the bigger one, cannot bear to be far away. Shoo! Off my quilt!!!!
Thank you so much!
I think you can see how much I love it.
Looking a little bedraggled in the photo as we just came in from the snow ... you are all the sweetest ladies in the world!

Knitette well a clue about your Jan. package. I too would be so sorry to have you leave. You are a really charming addition to the group, and so sorry to hear about the Dec. packages never arriving. Maybe they will all arrive together. I too will pitch in to keep you here.
I couldn't believe how many Lori had that hadn't sent yet. Lori you can contact me too if you need to. What a headache this is that you certainly don't need.
Krystyna you do look happy. Glad to hear it was a great day, it's about time you had a good day. I also had not heard about the fs blocks before the quilt was made or would have sent one too, but at least I saw Dotty's post and got something sent to her.
Happy Birthday Fayzer! And MsCupid belated birthday wishes to you sorry I missed it earlier. And all the other Jan. Birthday girls I missed. It was great to hear about Burns day. We have a coffee shop here called Mozart's and they celebrate his birthday too (but it isn't a national holiday) just a day with free Vienna pastry bites and appetizers. It is Sunday if I recall correctly. Maybe I can pick some up on the way to the bench to keep you bench warmers company.

There are 3 who have not mailed and 25 who have not received, but I have a date they were mailed for the other 22 so I am posting the February Swap.

Well...........................what can I say? I've been truly humbled by the response to my post, both on here and by the many private messages. As one mentioned, I think people did bite off more than they could chew in December and for whatever reason simply could not follow through. It's the stringing along, I think, that upset me the most.
My lovely SP emailed today to say it's on it's way.
I've been so overwhelmed by the kind thoughts and wishes I'm going to give it another go.
There seems to be a bit of confusion with posting internationally and one thing I do know is - a little costs a lot. A Customs Declaration has to be filled in, saying the goods are a gift, how much they cost - $10 - and a brief description of what they are - fabric, thread, novelties, for example and attached to the package. There's no charge for the form.
A lot of people use the Priority Mail International pre-paid envelopes, but I'm not sure how expensive these are. We don't have them here - weight only, but I always use clear tape on any bits I feel are vulnerable or weak and cross round the padded envelope. Another important thing is to put 'UK' on the envelope. My daughter received a parcel that had been to Canada, Australia and goodness knows where else. It took 7 weeks to arrive.
People on here are so generous and giving, but I just want to say, heartfelt, that a FQ or two and a spool of thread or pattern or whatnot is perfectly fine - that's $10 here anyway, lol! They don't need to be big, and especially not heavy - 'Guid gear comes in sma' bulk'.
Thank you all for your encouragement and warm wishes - it is the thought that counts and messages have meant more than any parcel.
