Jaba - beautiful quilt blocks.
MizMelly - isn't it fun to go 'shopping' in your stash?? So much fun! Let's get some more people in this swap. Let your quilt buddies know about it so we'll have a nice big swap. Jane |
Those are the best finds and you'll finally use them. Waiting for a picture of those beautiful blocks your making....

Here is a way you can set a quilt top with just 12 blocks (2 D4P sets). I saved the picture because I thought it looked super. It sorta looks like it could have been made with Civil War prints. Note that the blocks were made by trading the green and pink prints between 2 blocks, instead of making, turning, and sewing only one block at a time. An interesting twist! But it might confuse some people if they don't see it right away... I posted this on the February D4P swap thread-- but thought I'd share it here too in case some of you are not reading that thread.

Jaba, I love the way the diagonal stripe goes around in a circle on the Civil War block, upper left in your picture. Isn't that cute!

Well givio, I had that all planned and cut it that way! Yea right, I didn't even notice until you said something. You have a meticulous eye my dear.......and I love it

I sent a pm earlier today because I want in on the fun also.

Awesome Jannie! We can always use 1 more person in the mix of things. When you get your blocks done, we love pictures if you can post....
