I think a block swap would be a fabulous way to learn. Besides...minis count too.

YES YES and YES!! my first doll quilt was my very first completed quilt :oops: it was only like 13x13. I wanted to keep it minimal for the first time. I have tons of WIP's and UFO's and other in betweens but yes that was my first and it really got me motivated!! I have since joined many doll quilt swaps and a few block swaps. I still consider myself a beginner after atleast 4 years of quilting, "piecing" lol!! Everyone here is great and I hope you join!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

matter of fact it was the doll quilt swap that got me to finally quit just reading the newsletter and actually join the forum!!

I figure there is no better way to learn new techniques than with something like this swap. Go for it!!

Even Scrooge gets busy during this time of the year - with trying to sabotage the holidays and all.......

It would be nice to have both months to plan ahead.

I still have high hopes that one day - ONE DAY!!! I will kick my procrastinator habit. I start working on that first thing tomorrow. lol

I am going with green, brown, and orange. I am also okay with both months.
