dreamer, the tree that brenda is talking about was in the Dec/Jan 2012
issue of "McCalls Quick Quilts" magazine. Here is a link to the original post I made last year regarding the tree. There are pictures in that thread of the one I made. If you notice in my signature that I list fabrics with metallic gold it is for the purpose of making this tree pattern. I have the following colors (with the metallic gold): Red Green Purple Blue Pink Turquoise/teal Black However my FIRST tree was done in basic "green" |
Don't mind me jumping in here but just wanted to tell everyone I went shopping today for my SS at JoAnn's and was able to use 3 50% off coupons. Nothing I bought was on sale and the coupons are good until tomorrow. Have fun.

Gals and Guy,
I signed up. First time quilter and Secret Santa Swapper. I am very excited and more so after looking at last years pics. I thought it was going to be all about quilting stuff and was kind of puzzled when thinking of what to get that was quilting related. NOW I have some wonderful ideas and a box full of all kinds of goodies I can't wait to send out.....still adding to make sure it is all filled up! |
