I received Vovoa top from ROS in the mail today. Time to figure out what to do.

Well Bzang's top has been on my design wall for a while now. I've finally decided what to add. It's very busy with all the colors and action so I'm going to keep it simple and just add double borders to calm it down. I have a lovely cream and a splatter paint black (very small scale) to tie everything together. Also, it's a bit smaller than it was meant to be. Is that on purpose? It measures 48"sq instead of 52". I looked through all the posts but I didn't see anything about her preference for a smaller quilt. Let me know ok before I add a 10" border instead of 8".

GracefulAnn, Perhaps the design element of the previous round just worked out to be that size. I didn't notice b.zang requesting a smaller size.

GradefulAnn, although I didn't say anything about a smaller top, I did say I prefer my rounds to start smaller and increase with each round. Just a little different than how we have been adding them, but that's okay. I'm fine with whatever comes home. It's been fun watching the growth of a quilt; like a little look into how other people think as they take what I gave them as inspiration. I would rather have a smaller quilt that is harmonious that a larger one with stuff added just to make up size. Do what looks right to you.

Here it is Givio, I hope you will it! There was plenty of color and action in the flowered border, so I duplicated the red to frame it, then tried to pull out the oranges and green from the center, with a touch of the purple at the corners. It is much flatter and square than it looks hanging from a loft railing, I promise.

I like this one TRF. I figured out what I am going to add to vovoa's center. It will take me some time to get it done. I hope you will be patient with me.

TRF! Thank you so much! I love the various colors! I'm looking forward to getting this baby quilted and using it. :-)
