Yvonne, your package just arrived late this evening. We are the last house before the mailman goes home. Thank you very much. I measured some of the small pieces to see if they will fit and they do. I will definitely be using your fabric in my row for Mary. Yeah!

I just checked on a map and realized how close you live to Shawnee Mission, KS, where my cousins grew up. Now they're strewn all over the country, but I have vivid memories of visiting them in Shawnee Mission. Just a little tidbit- - -

Hello, all! Hope everything is going well for each of you. I think we are finally back on an even keel. I was in my sewing room working away on Barbara's row when I realized I had not completed Jane's!!! So, I am now back on that. I should squeak in at the last minute. God willing and the creek don't rise.
We have been trying to catch up on yard/garden things since we have been gone so much. While hubby is at work this week I am trying to catch up on my sewing. He and I are working one another pretty hard on the garden in the evenings. Those black gnats and ticks are so bad here I look like a red speckled pup.
Okay, have to finish my lunch and get back to sewing room. Hope you all are having a lovely day. The weather here is great. My AC is broke but I love having the windows open. Birds are singing, breeze is blowing.
Jane, I am sending you a message.

Don't know if any of you enjoy the beauty of horses or not but saw this elsewhere on the board and thought it was just beautiful. You may or may not want to check it out.

My blocks are done!! I have to wait on the PO to reopen this afternoon. Hope to get a little nap in between now and then because I work nights this weekend. So, Jane, here they are. I really like them and hope you do, too. I did not have to buy any fabric for these because this is my favorite fabric type and I have a LOT.
The block on the left is a scrappy pinwheel I made from my errors from another block. I actually took it back apart when I realized one of the pinwheels was backwards. The block on the right is the Friendship Block. I signed it. That pattern came from Eleanor Burns' Egg Money Quilts book. Some of the white has a bit of an orange tint in places but that should wash out fine.
The block on the left is called Carrie Nation and the right is Grape Basket. Both of these blocks are from a BOM I did last year at my LQS called A Tisket, A Tasket. I believe it was from Windham Fabrics.
This is my favorite.
This is called Peony and it, too, is from the EB Egg Money book. I did not applique stems because I would have embroidered this small and you requested no embroidery.
My points are not all perfect but I think they turned out okay and I hope you can use them.
Thanks for letting me work on your quilt.
