So do both those rows go to Peggizo? Just curious because I have no rows to work on. Of course, I have lots of other projects going. I think I may start on Annaquilts row and Whigrose's so that way I can get them drafted so when the rows come in I can get busy fast.

    Beautiful work Babeyruth.

Glad to see the photos also. Be ready Peggy, they are coming your way. Yep, you can send them together or one at a time, doesn't matter. Now that babeyruth gave some photos, I can work from there. I have some time to ponder the ideas. Oh so many for annaquilts, a few for Whigrose. I know I have the colors for both.

To date, I have received and completed two rows, QM and Annaquilts. I have a Peggizo's here, too - that was due to me on the April 1st mailing, so that puts me on track.

Should Peggizo have mine and be mailing to you QM? I'm thinking maybe because some of the rows were finished early and mailed on, that may be throwing you off a bit. You'll get one soon, I'm sure. In the meantime, sit back, relax and work on some of your UFO's :-)

Think I've changed horses on Peggizo's row. Can't get away from applique to save my soul. I hope to have them tied up pretty soon.

It wouldn't work for either of the rows I have here to be sent to you QM because one of them is your row and the other is the beach row and you've worked on that.

My goal is to mail both row on Friday to Babeyruth but I'll confirm with her and QM when they do go out.

Two months seems like a long time to have these row to work on- I"m just saying :-)

    best,
    d

i know, hold on to my horses. See what happens when i don't do other swaps. LOL

I have plenty to do. And as for those UFOS, remember, I have several done and so not that many are laying around. I did see yesterday when i was longarm quilting, that I have seven of my own to get quilted. That is a shocker. I need to get on those then and finish them up. I did sew on the borders of two scrap quilts (one a mystery quilt) so they are ready to be quilted. I think i am going to try my hand at baptist fans with my Circle Lord, that ought to keep me entertained for some time.

Hmmmm yes and no. I am good with the one I have right now. I am waiting on a pattern book Beth is sending on to help me with the row I have here. These next 2 1/2 months will be busier then Christmas for me so I am good. Sorry I am a slow poke I guess.

You no slow poke, that row is due June 1, so you are on time. Some of us are overachievers and we love to get them done. We get so excited and can't put it down till done. I was slow in mailing a couple rows so as you said Anna, it is good and bad.

I am very happy how everyone is working with each other and giving feed back and input. I am really enjoying this swap. It is the first of such I have done. Has anyone done a round robin before? What is your thought on that versus a row robin? It always seemed a bit more intimidating to me then a row robin. I am not sure why.

I have done a round robin. It is nearly the same. What my group did is we made a formula of six rounds, then you made a 12" block for the center. From there we turned the box over and the next person added a round like a 3" border, then we turned on point and did a log cabin type of border, then we had to put a zinger on and do a 6" applique border, then we did a zinger and then did another 6" border. If I think about it, will dig mine out a post a photo. they new I liked to quilt so I have some open space on mine. Now the one I showed that is orange and is Shekenah's, that was part of a round robin but I added two more borders to it to make it large enough for Shekenah's bed. That is one I did to help instruct with the class. One spot we all learned is that we need to learn how to measure the diagonal. The log cabin round made it hard for some of us to do. Had to fix it a couple of times. They turned out really nice.

Sounds great! Can't wait to see the pictures. Thanks for sharing your experience. I always struggle with the diagonal too.

Row by Row vs Round Robin is basically the same idea, only ending up in a different shape -rows vs square or rectangle.

And Anna, with your skills, you have nothing to be concerned about. Jump in there if there is a row robin going on that looks good to you - or form your own Row Robin group off line of QB. ;-) just saying...

    best,
    d
