Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Grann, I love the lights. It will help so much.
Happy Quilting.
I'm still here! Very, VERY busy weekend/holiday going on.
Hubby in for the holiday, as was the son in law. Everyone happy except for Courtney who couldn't come up due to having to work. I sure hope they give her Christmas off!!
The hood in kitchen bit the dust. I could have called the Home Warranty people, but just decided to go and buy a new one. Got the one I wanted and after 4 hours, it's finally installed.
Yesterday, we were out looking for the hood, and hubby says...hey, why don't we go and look at the dining table you said you wanted. So, off we go. On the way, he decided he has to use the bathroom. He couldn't go before we left. ARGH!! So, we stop at the wine store and he uses the restroom in there. Well, upstairs they have a brewery. So, up we go. After him sampling a couple beers, we get out of there without spending a ton of money. So, back on the road to the store for the table. We get there and I can't find the table. Ahh...there it is! It was moved to another section of the store. Hubby likes it and asks if it the is the one I REALLY want. Well, duh! I wouldn't have brought you here or talked about it almost non-stop if it wasn't THE ONE I wanted! So, he says....do you like any of the hutches that match? Well, of course I do!! Do I like the pricetag that is attached? No, but he says....well, if we are going to get the table, then we should get the matching hutch too. That way, we have the set and all is good.
Hmmm....so, is he ACTUALLY saying I can have the table AND the hutch? Yeppers! So, after about an hour in the store, we walk out with the receipt for the table and hutch and the paper saying it'll be delivered on Thursday! WOOHOO!! Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Mother's/Father's Day and all other holidays to me!! Didn't really plan on spending that much, but we aren't moving anymore, so this is going to be my forever dining set! It's beautiful and I just love my husband!
Now, if I can only figure out HOW to get the Brother Quattro that I want. lol
DH gets to keep me happy. Remember, if momma ain't happy, NO ONE is happy!
You betcha! I think we have twin machines! I have the QueenQuilter18, the Tin Lizzie knockoff. Still made by Tin Lizzie, but cheaper. Yours looks identical to my Queenie! I've not had mine long, but having a lot of fun with it. Learning with every quilt I do. I'll join you playing anytime!
Boy Terri, you hit the jackpot for the year! If you can manage to get the dining room set, you'll get your Brother too! Just keep up the chatter about it like you did the dining room table & you'll have it! Christmas is coming, put a bug in Santa's ear & maybe he'll bring it to you for Christmas!
Terri, that is wonderful that you are getting what you want. DH would take me shopping and we would end up getting what HE wanted, not what I wanted. Now that I am a widow, as you can see I get what I want.
The long arm is the Husquavarna Viking Mega Quilter 18X8. I don't have the computer on it and never will. I have had it about a year and a half and am still learning too. I can do a pretty good meander. I do mostly charity quilting so I don't need to do fancy stuff, just speedy stuff. I bought the machine from the dealer as a floor model, so got a great deal. The Grace frame cost as much as the machine. Then I have all my other machines in the sewing studio in the basement.
