I had a personal issue that kept me from mailing by the deadline, but I did DEFINITELY get mine in the mail and it is on its way to somewhere East of me. I actually found out that this state had a pretty rough time of it when it became a state... trying to get into the Union as a non-slave state. (I am getting a degree in American History and just finished reading the chapter on contested statehoods).

My SP will definitely be getting her package at the first of this week. I looked it up on delivery confirmation and it is to arrive there by no later than Tuesday. So, Miss Benchwarmer, you will not be for long!

Louise So so glad to hear you liked your package. I really enjoy putting the packages together. I try my best to get the items people really want so I'm glad the Lil Twister was the right ruler. I have the larger twister ruler but haven't had a chance to try it out myself. Hope you post a picture of your finished project using the twister ruler. I really want to try the Christmas tree pattern or the wreath pattern but doubt I will get to it in time for this Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday! Question to people do the secret santa and the monthly SP for December?

Off Topic: Have to share with you my friends! My DH and I have a adorable new Grandson he was born on Saturday in Ohio! Can't wait to see him in person and of course hold and kiss him! My DILs mother is there for 2 wks so my DH and I will go sometime after that. DH has a deadline that is due on the 8th so we can't leave until after that! So very Thankful![/QUOTE]

Darlene, If you are going to be in Ohio, maybe we can set up some kind of a meet and greet at a restaurant near your daughter's while you are here. There are lots of members that are in Ohio. If you are interested in trying to do it..l. What town or area is your daughter in and about when will you be in Ohio? Who would want to join us?

Congratulations on the babies!! Aren't grand great? Someone told me that grandkids were our reward for not killing our kids! Fun in Jest!! Both my pals have received their packages, I heard from one and the other must be unable to get on line, she is usually on quite a bit, but not for the last couple of days. Hope she is OK!! Signed up for next month. Just love this game.

Well-l-l, I have a new baby. He is not as adorable as Darlene's grandson.......but......I think he is precious. Meet our three month old Boxer, Gunner/AKA "Gunny". Named him after Mark Harmond's character on NCIS. His nose looks really long but it is just the angle of the shot. My son said we should have named him after Alice Cooper! LOL
