Congratulations on the new house. You've made a great start on that sewing room and I know you'll enjoy having a space of your own.

congrats on new rooms ....i might put an additional shelf on top of your tower cabinets ...you would gain more space than just hanging them

I'm really laughing.. When my parents sold their house, they sold it with the piano, as they were moving into a two bedroom coop.. Of course I am missing it..

I, too, had to give up my piano -- full-sized grand built between 1840 and 1845 according to the dealer I got it from -- when we moved south to be near our kids and grandkids. I really love being in the Houston area, but gosh! I miss my piano. It was such a stress reliever. At least quilting also relieves much stress, too. Your piano room is nothing less than charming, and your sewing room is really neat! Enjoy them both.
