Dreamy, congratulations on having the creative space. Love the footstool & rocker in the room, great touches.

It is a perfect space for quilting, with so much ambiance and warmth in it. I love, love, love it. I own 15 different sewing machines, including the Bernina 830 which I bought new in 1974 with a loan from our credit union. Each sewing machine has a purpose and a reason for why I own it, and my antique treasure is an industrial Singer Sewing Machine with a tiny oval face plate of Feb 20, 1899 on it.....it looks like a giant sized antique singer sewing machine.....and I have learned to free motion quilt on it. The best source of sewing machines is www.shopgoodwill.com where I find treasures for almost no money, and restore the machines.

Just can't say how very much I liked getting to see your sewing room pictures. They warmed my heart and almost felt like I was right there. It was wonderful. A fresh breath of air to begin my day. I make and give away special cloth dolls to kids with devastating illness. (Mostly cancer victims.)

You and your hubby sound like such a compatible pair. It is so good that you spend time like that. I have a wonderful hubby too. He doesn't do much in the way of hobbies these days, but he is patient and loving about what I do. He is my support and encourager.

Thanks for posting this.

God Bless you and yours

Vickey

It looks very user friendly, like you would like to go in and sit a spell!

Thanks for sharing your photos. Looks like a great place to create. Glad to see your quilting buddies (Lenny and Carly) enjoy the room as well.
