I, too, am a container hoarder. I save jars, plastic containers, and any kind of thing you can put something in. My daughter says if I weren't restrained, I would be like some of those on TV!!! I doubt that I would ever get that bad, but I do hate to waste anything reusable.

I went through my kitchen and thinned out my plastic collection. My kids are now vegan so we eat out when they come over. I don't need dishes for leftovers. I like plastic shoe boxes for my fabric even though I have heard it may not be good.

We don't eat at KFC very often but did about a month ago and yes I saved the 2 we have.

Well, I don't eat at KFC, but I save every single cute little container I come across... I think I need a 12-step program! You know what other ones are great - the containers that Land O'Lakes butter/margerine comes in. They are plastic and kind of oblong in shape, so they hold lots of different types of items! I also love the little rectangular plastic baby food containers. And the plastic containers that powdered drink mix comes in (the Great Value ones are rectangular, most others are round). See - I told you I need a program to overcome this addiction!

I have some too and use it for pins! They are great to store the small stuff

I'm an Altoid mint tin saver... They are the perfect size for pins and they fit bobbins perfectly! I had tried doing the altered Altoid tins where you paint them and glue fabric or paper on them but I didn't like the way they felt when they were done so I'm back to regular Altoid tins - but I think I'm going to spray paint the tops and bottoms of them and then Sharpie or use a label maker to mark what's in them....
