If any one is interested in meeting please feel free to come along. I live in Carlyle & plan on leaving here around 8 to be in Effingham around 9, go to Angies 9 patch, grab a bite for breakfast then head to Arthur IL. Would love to meet anyone interested in going.

Hello:
While in Arthur, Ill., go south, in the country to Beechy's bulk foods grocery store. You will see products never inagined for baking and cooking, then continue on south to Miller's Dry Goods. They have a huge supply of fabrics and quilting notions. They also have all manners of quilt patterns, even Aunt Martha patterns. I was absolutely ga ga over the patterns. They have seam rippers for under $1.00 and the prices for fabrics are $3.00 less per yard than here in Tennessee. My daughter lives near there and knew about Miller's Dry Goods, run by an Amish family. When I go back, Miller's will be my first destination. You will be pleased and it is well worth the journey. All of the prices at the local fabric shops are reasonable. Primarily, it is for be benefit of the community, secondarily for the tourists. I just can't wait to go back.

I was in Arthur, IL. 2 weeks ago and hit all those spots. You don't want to miss all these places. I really loaded up on things at Beechy's. Great prices and fresh!! Fabric stores are wonderful too. Really liked Miller's.
