If you are anywhere near Martinsville, Virginia, this is a must-see. Piedmont Arts Associations' exhibition "The Art of the Quilt" has only 4 days of viewing left--Dec. 23, 28, 29, and 30. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is a fabulous show, held every two years. The theme this year is "Blue Ridge" in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway. In conjunction with the invitational show is the Virginia Foothills Quilters Guild show.
Piedmont Arts is located on US Business Route 58, 215 Starling Avenue
Martinsville, VA 24112, Phone: (276) 632-3221.

Oh I wish I were there. I love going to Martinsville. I still have alot of family there and I was born there. I would love to see that show. Blue Ridge Mts and the Parkway is always a must do on my list when I get back there - especially Mabry Mill.

Thank you so very much for sharing,
Sherryl

I'm just down the way. Might look into the drive if the weather permits.
