Kalamaquilts: Yes, by all means bring projects either completed or that you're working on. Snacks are good too.
I was just getting ready to add this.

I was able to get a look at the meeting room today. It's on the ground floor, has tables as well as chairs and electrical outlets. The lady I spoke with didn't see any problem with us bringing in sewing machines and working on our projects so please feel free to do so. I know I'm going to.

There's also a small kitchen area and there are coffee pots so we'll be able to have some coffee and bring some snacks while we're there too.

I hope a bunch of you can make it, it should be fun.

Just a heads up for those coming from the north of me. On my other thread one of the members said I5 is going to be one lane only. You might want to take one of the back ways into Centralia.

I'm very new to the board and new to quilting, but I'd love to come if you don't mind!!! I'd have to check with the family to see if we have plans. Maybe we'll make a day of it and see if they're up for a mini road trip, if I promise Burgerville I'm sure they'd be all in

As it turns out, I can't make it. One kid has cross country practice and one has cake decorating classes. Sounds like a fun time though and I'll try for the next one!

I'm just leaving now. Something i should have mentioned. The meeting room is on the ground floor next to the children's section.
See you soon.

I forgot my camera and I'm really regretting it. A bunch of really beautiful machines showed up as well as their owners.
I also want to thank everyone who attended today. It's the people that make a get together like this a success. This was a huge success to me. I met a bunch of truly wonderful people today including a couple non-members that I'm hoping will join.
Thank you again everyone. We'll be doing this again.
