    Hi. have put this together just to get an idea of what it looks like and it seems a bit "bright in your face" to me, think I need a darker sashing around the blocks, need your expertise please Elle

    I also think a darker inside border would work better. I believe it would separate the outside flowers and show them off more.

    Especially the fat cat! lol

    Yes, a darker border would be better.

    You could make a much bigger quilt by spreading them out more or even two....you could sash between each block........its really pretty :D

    I also think a darker color would look wonderful. Maybe the dark green or the dark red/burgundy. Great job on the blocks.

    Terry, sorry this one is for my daughter, a surprise when she comes out here to live to try and see if she likes Spain or not. I can send you a FAT cat though, might not get through your mail box LOL

    I think a darker colour would be a good idea too and maybe around the blocks a bit too..that way you can see the blocks more and appreciate the work that went into each darling block!! Yes I love the fat cat too!! LOL

    Hi Ruth, I did think of that, but I am following a pattern and the sashing is on the outside and I think it would make the quilt too big.....this is the biggest I have made so far. But the darker colour is the one I am going for. Thanks for your ideas Elle

    Hi ColletaKay, Thanks for your ideas too, however I am just glad you canīt see up close to those blocks as they are not the best in the world I assure you, was my first time doing those as I mainly applique. Input appreciated Elle
