Default African Queen a spiderweb quilt

I started this quilt last February and posted about it here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...a-t240705.html
The pattern is from the book "Big Book of Scrap Quilts".

I didn't update the topic much. Anyway, I ended up making enough spiderweb blocks for three quilts. I had the blocks completed by May and then they sat. This is the first of the 3 completed. I am calling it African queen because it is queen size and has predominantly African themed fabrics.

One is for a very special co-worker, one will be for my brother. I haven't decided yet what to do with the 3rd. Because the fabrics are so busy, I opted for quilting a panto on it but I think the panto still goes with the African theme of the quilt. The back is wide muslin. I used 80/20 batting and YLI cotton thread. This was quilted on my Innova longarm.

The front:

A close up. I found this wonderful African animal fabric and the animal pictures were the perfect size for cornerstones. There are lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, gazelle and an antelope.
All animals of the Serengeti.

Thanks for looking.

This is probably the best use of African themed material I've seen. The quilt is fabulous.

P.S. do you mind sharing the name of the panto? It really does fit your theme.
