And they are naming her "Birdie"

Just made a quilt top for my DN to give to a friend who is expecting a little girl. They are planning on naming the new bundle of joy "Birdie"... (for real!!!!) So we went with a bird theme! The 4 patches are all bird print and the bird applique was replicated from one of the small birds. It is now quilted, bound and on its way. Hopefully the mom-to-be will appreciate the humor

Love the name and the quilt. I am sure the mother will be thrilled.

A novel idea and it's quite cute; could almost have been a sea lion or whale too! I'm sure she'll love it.

Such a cute little quilt for the little one. I also knew a lady named Birdie. It's more common than some might think. She will be a sweet little "Birdie."
