Aha Aha Aha! For anyone whose ever gasped at the prices

The size of that one is around the size of an average dinner plate.
You'll spend more time picking fabrics for it. You'll spend more time pressing and folding and placing them than you do sewing.
The only sewing you actually do on the thing is just on straight line of stitches to hold each piece down.
All those fabrics I used are scraps from the bottom of my mom's drawers and are a few years old.

Thanks cc, didn't mean to butt into the topic, just wanted to share the binding I used.
The pattern was workshop 5, using colour value wash & hand appliqué by Carol Galloway, in a book compiled by Gail P. Hunt, called Quiltworks across Canada.
