Default Another great find...saving quilts

In October, I went to a quilt show and bought a finished set of 12 blocks from the quilters' table of "no longer want these" items...for $15!!!!! Just knew surely I could put them together for some kind of quilt. There was no co-ordinating fabric, etc, but I knew I'd find something!! hehehe The blocks were "sort of square" except for one. Had to take off a nip of the points on one block!! But, the quilt is so busy, being a sampler quilt, no one will ever notice, but the quilt police!! And, I don't belong to them anyhow!!! Anyway, here is the finished product...tried to get it in the sunlight from the door, so you could see these beautiful blocks. Just wonder why the quilter gave up on this one?? Sometimes, bad health or life just gets in the way. Another Christmas gift DONE!!
