I have to share a story about this one. I'm still a pretty new quilter-pretty much self taught (thank you, Lord, for this board!) So, most of my tops I have sent to a LAQ but this one was small and fairly simple, I thought. My great idea was to just outline quilt around all the shapes and do some FMQ down the boarders. Invisible thread was NOT my friend, but once started.....except it sure was kinda jerky and not very fluid. I chalk it up to my inexperience and figure I'll get better with practice, right? Have you ever had one of those middle-of-the-night Aha! moments? Well, about 3 in the morning the light goes on in brain-"Feed dogs! You didn't drop the feed dogs!" :-D

That's so funny and yes, I do the same thing!! Sometimes it seems like during sleep thoughts get clearer than when I'm awake. Scary thought! hahaha

Just so adorable. Dropping feed dogs is very important. Wearing gloves with rubber nubs is too.
