This was a Fons and Porter kit that I bought at a quilt show. Finally got the borders on it. All the applique is fake - printed on the fabric.

I like it! This is probably the only way I'd make a Baltimoe album quilt. They have a lot of work in them~

Very nice. Even if you didn't do it all yourself. Baltimore is a striking quilt. Wish they had something like that named after Boston.

Great job. I used the same line of fabric by Mimi Dietrich to make my own fake Baltimore Alblum quilt. I know Mimi. She is the founding mother of one of my guilds. She teaches a year long class on appliquing a Baltimore Alblum quilt. She is currently fighting her second battle with breast cancer in 15 years. She is a great lady.

I delayed putting the borders on because they were mitered. ugh! I like they way mitered borders look, but what a pain!

I've done 1 small applique project, so I totally admire the true Baltimore album quilts.
