Scott, how beautiful! So what type of embroidery machine do you have? I'm very impressed with your results. I know your parents are estatic.

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for your kind words. My mother cried, which triggered my sister, which triggered me, and I think maybe even my dad let one fall from his cheek too.

The designs are from Bernina Studio, Baltimore Elegance. I embroidered them on a Brother 4000D.

The Borders were "quilted" on a Brother PR-600 II. I machine quilted the blocks and the background on a Janome 6600P. That was torture. It pushed me into ordering a Grace Frame, Juki Machine, etc.

Awesome! As much as I like doing things by hand, I'm constantly reminded here of how machines can assist in creating truly great art. Beautiful quilting too, bravo!

Wowzers!! That is truly amazing. It's so simply elegant.

Okay--how did you get that picture? I'm guessing you stood on a stairway? :D

What I was saying is that it still takes a true artist to use the machines to do that (not just the machine), don't you think?

Oh my gosh! I just realised that is quilting I am looking at, not the print of the fabric! That is FANTASTIC!

Words fail me. I am just sitting here with my mouth open. I would have cried too. What a wonderful expression of love for your parents.

I love it. What a great idea for machine embroidery! I love that the embroidery does not overwhelm the quilt!
