I've learned a long time ago to trust his taste in patterns / fabrics / colors / etc. He's annoying good at picking out great combinations

Well, I've nixed the gold and reshuffled the purples. We shall see what happens now.

I must say that the gold jumped out at me too! Adding more golds would blend it better. But I also agree with Candace - the purple on white print is the only fabric that doesn't 'read' as a solid. But I'll end by saying that I've never made a bargello so have no idea what effect you should be aiming for at this stage (got a couple of patterns on order though!) so if I were you, I wouldn't pay any attention to what I say! :lol:

I think the whites stick out. Maybe replace one of them with another gold and a couple lighter blues to blend with the others. Anything with alot of white in it will stand out more and not blend quite as much.
