    Sorry, don't know the name, it was a BOM in our group, very easy and I made it with scraps but I want to make another one sometimes with a material with pattern and a plain matching one, all blocks que same this time. :lol:

    im with granny, she would like dark brown or orange sashing, im a bright, the black is ok, but im sure a dark brown would unify better than black. hugz

    I think I will leave it for a while and see if I can find something in autumn/earthy colours next time I go shopping. I myself always thought I would use the black but now looking at it, I find it very "harsh" to the other colours.

    If you use sashing, I agree I think the black is kind of harsh. A rusty/orangy/brown kind of color I think might work better. That being said, I do kind of like the waffle-look of it without the sashing. I'm wondering it you could still keep that kind of look by making your sashing fairly narrow. Love the pattern...that's so cool. And I really like the way you've combined the colors you used!
