    I am going to use this as a block for a virtual quilting bee I am in - I am using fabric from the Moda line "Just Wing It" in reds, blues, greens. Do you think the black (it's really Kona Pepper) is too much? Any other ideas for the solid?

    I think the black is perfect with the pink. Beautiful block!
