Hi, everybody, thought I'd share some pictures; the first is a UFO, found languishing in a closet. It's 108" long x 90" side; it's machine-stitched and hand-quilted. I don't have a pattern, I just make it up as I go along. I started to finish the border (hand-quilted), and I do not like what I created. I need to quilt (hand) the border and the top that covers the pillows. Any ideas what pattern to use to coordinate with the center of the quilt that is finished. Maybe this is why it is a UFO!

The whole quilt.

No help on the quilting pattern, but I love the pink and gray together.

OMG, that is wonderful! Look at those tiny stiches and the lines so close together!

I am a real newbie on hand quilting, but I love cross-hatched hand quilting. Could you follow the outside lines of the pink shapes in the gray shapes, from both sides, so it would be partly cross-hatched?

How about the outline of the appliqued flowers on the larger grey areas and echo stitching or plain lines down the length on the pink areas? By the way, that's a lovely quilt.

It is a beautiful quilt that needs to be finished. Even if you only shadow stitched the outline of the flower...be sure to finish it, so that all can enjoy!

That is a beautiful quilt! I don't hand quilt but ... how about outline a smaller rose in the gray and a bud in the pink?
