Agree with Tealfalcon, orange is not a colour I would think to use, but this is lovely

Wow!! Love the details you have incorporated into this. Thank you for sharing! You've inspired a quilt I want to make in honor of my 92 year old grandmother who just died. I'll use poppies for a flower center, but the butterflies wrapping around them is a GREAT idea now that she's flying around on her next adventure. Maybe humming birds thrown in, too. Hmmm. If I actually get the quilt done, I'll post a picture and link it back to you. Thank you.

Thanks, I would like that! I actually been thinking of hummingbirds as they were my dad's favorite. I have a nice pattern for a pieced hummingbird.
