    Default The Cut Up Quilt

This is a quilt I recently finished. I really LOVE this fabric line - Little Gatherings from Moda. I wanted to keep a masculine feel to the quilt when I quilted it, so I took a pantograph pattern called Mahogany and modified it to make a block, then rotated each block so every other one was vertical/horizontal. It was a lot of fun to make and I'm happy with how it turned out. I liked the fabric so well that I'm now making another quilt from a Jelly Roll from this same line

    Thanks for looking.

Love the quilt and the quilting. The quilting almost looks like wood grain.
