Very good looking machine, you should be able to sew up a storm.

Girl, you are going to be a long time discovering the complete wonderfulness of your new baby. Mine is a year old and still I am finding more and more I love about it. One piece of advice, take some time and make a sample on a 24" square piece of doubled fabric, of each of the stitches. You will not be sorry. Put the number of the stitch and a mark of some kind, like an "A" beside it if it can be adjusted, as some of them can. I named mine Honey cause she is so sweet! Also, if you do not have someone who can answer questions about your new baby, ask away. I am pretty comfortable with Honey and had a 6500 before her, so I can pretty much answer your questions.
One does what one can with what one has!!

She's beautiful. Since someone said she looks like a work horse, you could name her Nellie, as in whoa Nellie. Just a thought. Have fun with her.

I recently purchased the same machine and I find myself overwhelmed by all that it can do. I wish the manual came with better detailed instructions. I named mine Ruby….you know….Ruby Red? Good luck and Happy Quilting!

She is beautiful. Perhaps name her Big Red! LOL...that's an old horse movie! But if she is a workhorse it may fit.

You just invested in a wonderful machine!! I totally love mine. It would be good if you could take some classes on the machine as it is so helpful to know how it operates and all it can do! It FMQ's beautifully, with great control and even stitching. Have fun learning and using her!!
