Default DIL wants to try her hand at quilting....

My DIL help me lay out a quilt of multi colored blocks about a week ago. Yesterday she came home with some FQ's she wants to make a rainbow quilt with. Decided some worked and some didn't so we went to our LQS today to get more FQ's. So here is the beginnings of her first quilt as well as the beginnings of her stash.... She is a very good seamstress so knowing how to sew in general will not be an issue.

1st picture is for the quilt, 2nd picture is of her stash.......

Another quilting buddy. How exciting to have your DIL share your hobby with you.

Those FQ are beautiful-I quilt with my DDIL & it has really been a bonding experience for us! Her tastes are so different from mine that it has helped me think in a different way! Have fun with her!
