    Default Dragonfly Attempt

It would work better with the fold down fabric being thinner. I have pressed the roll backs down but I am going to sew them down and quilt it at the same time for a pot holder. I stay stitched the pieces on top before trying to assemble the block. I will give it another attempt at a later date for a wallhanging I think.

Never having done this, I am no expert. But I like it with the width they are. Gives a great dimensional quality to it. Please share when finished.

Thanks Tartan for posting that! I do like the look of it. I know you said potholder - how big is the block? I did order the pattern yesterday - I'm thinking wallhanging but 'bigger' blocks.

Thank you for posting I LOVE the colors! I ordered the pattern yesterday too, and can't wait to get it.... I am excited to try it. What size is that block you made? Was it fairly easy?
