    Thank you for the crayon tip....i'm going to try it right away as my grand-daughters want to make some things for their folks for Christmas and that sounds like the perfect thing - they color - i quilt !!! And sorry i didn't say it earlier, but your work on this is just too cute !!

    When you do the crayon, after your done put a plain white sheet of paper over the colored image, and a papertowel behind it and put your iron on cotton- med hi, and iron over the paper. You will see an imprint of the image on the paper...Thanks everyone for you comments! I worked a lot of hours on this and am finishing tonight!!

    I did that same quilt for my little great grandson. It was so cute. I've been thinking about another crayon quilt but haven't got it planned out just yet

    what a fantastic idea and the quilt is absolutely adorable. Is it hand embroidered? I have an embroidery machine and I would love to do something like that.
