Wink Family Photo Quilt: the quilt I am so thrilled to have made.

My mother became an empty nester last year and she had not been taking it very well. So I thought I'd make her a quilt wall hanging of her kids photos so she can always feel us nearby. And this is what I came up with:
I chose green because it is my mom's favorite color and then brown because it goes so well with green, lol, and her house. I used all of my math skills (yes I paid attention in geometry ) and designed the layout and the applique. I had tons of fun making this quilt for mom, and she just loved it! I was thrilled to see how excited she was to have it, she took it around and showed everybody and then my wonderful husband hung for her before we left. My father loved it too. It was well wort the effort and math frustration, lol. And I want to thank my friend Sarah for printing the photos for me, I couldn't have done without you my friend. It measures approximately 27" by 34".

Your Mom and Dad raised a very thoughtful DD. I would be proud to have one of these too. Thanks for sharing.
