An I spy baby quilt that I am not thrilled with.

This didn't turn out that impressive(still practising hst's) but I will donate it anyway, to our local hospital auxiliary!

It is interesting to look at. Don't be so hard on yourself. It is a great quilt.

What's wrong with it? I love the dark/light fabrics, the stars, and the red binding on the edges. I think you did a great job!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

I agree with all of the above. To me it looks lovely and it will be loved by some lucky child. We all have to start some place and I'm sure all or at least most quilters have not been pleased with more than a few quilts they have made. For myself, some days I don't like one I have made, then other days it seems quite nice. I still get frustrated with some of the silly mistakes I make, but in the end, it's all good - just like your lovely little quilt.

I think this is wonderful. I love the borders and sashing on this. I know sometimes I will see a quilt differently once I step away for awhile. Seems to soften my inner critic
