Featherweight my new baby

You will absolutely love her for piecing. She won't "eat" the fabric in her feed dogs. Since I got my first one, 8 yrs ago, they are all I use for quilting. I regularly free hand quilt with them also. Don't need to drop the feed dogs. Just loosen the tension on the presser foot.

Yes, they are lovely little machines! When I bought my first one in 1994 at Paducah Kentucky while there for the quilt show, I have been completely hooked! So, when I needed repair parts that were hard to find, I started a business in 1997 repairing them and selling parts. Really happy showing others how to repair and clean their little beauties!

I'm hoping to go to an Estate sale on Friday as there is a picture of the black box & the picture caption says "Sewing machine". Wish me luck!

The cases for my 221's are in pretty good shape but they stink really badly so I went to WalMart and got a Rubbermaid opaque container and the green top had a handle on it. I have plenty of room in it for all the goodies and the foot pedal. I keep one in my RV so I don't really care what kind of case it's in so it is Rubbermaid.
