Hi Debra,
I am new to this site, and just about to start the Amy Butler Love quilt. I am not a really experienced quilter, yet! Do you have any tips? How difficult was the project?
Thank you
Trudie~

Hi Trudie,
I’m not very experienced either. It wasn't too difficult. the hardest part for me is deciding on fabric placement. The Y seams take time but not hard. I love this quilt, it is on our bed.

My tips are:
Make a good templates and cut your piece accurately
When you sew the rows together, mark the edges that go together. I use color straight pins. Before I marked them, I put the wrong edges together and had to redo it a couple of times.

Have fun. I want to see it when you are done.
Berta

If you are new to y-seams, see the helpful video on page 3-or 4.
