    Hexy quilt

Here is the quilt top I made with 5 of my Romanian quilting friends+my 3 sisters; even my hubby helped us to finish it.
    It's all English paper pieced.
It took us about 3 months from start to finish.
The sphere measures 80'' and it was appliqued onto a hexagon background; the whole top is 100''.
It is my design; I started to quilt it and can't wait to see it finished.
This technique is great for a group quilt - we all loved to work on it.
    I hope you like it.

That is amazing.......... An optical illusion or suspended animation? Brilliant. Wish I could do one like that. It will be on my "TO DO".. list. Love it.

Gasp! How under the sun were you able to get that perspective? Every hexagon has to diminish is size. I can't imagine how you did this!!!

Amazing - I hope you have a show near you where you can enter that. It deserves to be appreciated and seen by many. If you ever put it into a pattern for sale - make sure you let us know! I doubt that I would ever complete it but would just love looking at it.
