Looks JUST like one my Aunt hand-pieced in 1935 when she was 17. She gave it to me several years ago and I finished it, adding borders and hand quilting it. Later, I discovered a calendar with a quilt pictured with the name of the pattern: Hummingbird.
Here is my Aunt's version.
Needless to say, I love both of them!

It is wonderful, and I think you did a great job. I have a hand pieced quilt top that my Grandmother, who died before I was born, made. Even some of the tiny squares are pieced together. I need to hand quilt it, but my hand quilting is not great at all. You have inspired me. perhaps I will tackle it.
