My daughter's "Project Runway" quilt is totally done now. Last time I posted a pic of it, it didn't have borders, so now it does. It was super fast and easy and perfect for her. These blocks are a whopping 19" finished!! And the quilt itself is exactly 84" x 65".

In the most recent issue of "Quilts and More" I completely fell in love with their Wild Flowers pin cushions!! So I finally got one made up for myself. I was slow to finish because there was hand sewing involved, but I sucked it up and completed it last night!! :D It's bigger than I had expected it to be, and not as perfect looking as the ones in the magazine, but I love it!

Thanks ladies! The Singer DOES work.... when it has an unbroken leather treadle belt! :( I recently bought the machine and hubby and I are looking around locally for any vintage machine shops before we resort to buying parts online for it.

So no, currently I don't sew with it... but I will in the future! My sewing projects will be people powered then!! :D

Your daughter's quilt is beautiful! I love the combination of black and pink. The pincushion is adorable. I collect pincushions but haven't made any yet. And I LOVE your antique Singer! I want one really bad. :D

My parents have one of those machines at the end of their hallway. Its very old. I dont think it works anymore cause they couldnt find a belt for it.
