Yesterday I decided to try my hand on a mini doll quilt I needed for a gift and here it is. I even did the machine quilting myself.... It is just 13 x 18 inches....not sure what color to bind it in . Any suggestions?

Very cute lucky little girl. I guess on the binding do you want it to stand out? I'd do yellow if you don't want it to stand out maybe the same pink as the border.

Yeah that is what I was thinking.............yellow due to the fact that it would bring the other yellow out to the edges.. rather than be a color that just stands out.. There is yellow flowers in he print fabric as well as purple ones..

I just made my first one two weeks ago for my granddaughter's American Girl doll. I also embroidered the doll's name on the quilt and my granddaughter went ape over it. She just turned 9. I made it with left over fabric from her quilt from 2 years ago; so now her doll's quilt matches. I was also thinking yellow if you want it to stand out more. It is really pretty and they are so easy to make. I will do more of these.

I would use the light purple to finish it off.

My husband picked out the bright pink you have as binding for pillow cases. He loved the way they turned out.

Beautiful quilt. Yellow would be my choice for binding.
