A fundraising quilt
This quilt will be donated for Alzheimer's Research fundraising. The raffle will be held in May 2013 through NARFE (National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees) at their CA State Convention. It's a fairly nice size (6x7).
Not sure if posting the photos will come out right as they appear sideways in the preview! But, you can get an idea of what the quilt looks like.
We used to own an RV and these fabrics were so precious with classic RV's, trailers, campers, and campgrounds...a great purchase when I found them. Now, I'm hoping it'll be an inspiration for retirees or families who have fond memories (or are actively) enjoying the outdoors. Hoping it'll raise a good amount toward Alzheimer's Research. Just in the past few years, I've known 3 people quite well who have contracted the disease. It's just awful. Sure wish a cure could be found!
